Streamlight Argo LED v. Streamlight Septor LED

I bought two Streamlight® headlamps from FlashlightDistributor.com, the Argo LED and the Septor LED.  Both headlamps have a 90ยบ tilting head which saves my neck from cramping.  Both use 3 AAA alkaline batteries and have low battery warning lights.  But these two headlamps throw completely different kinds of light.  When I need to see objects at a distance, the Argo shines a beam for more than 600 feet.  I prefer the C4® LED of this headlamp when I’m checking the branches of my trees or when I need to see where I’m walking in the dark with my hands full.  When I need to perform tasks at arm’s length, or up-close work where seeing details is important, the Septor sheds a soft flood light that works better for me than the
Argo’s brightness.  I like the seven white 5mm LEDs of this headlamp for my hobby projects.  Great lights, FlashlighDistributor!
